Reach us easily from Helsinki City Centre (Railway Station “Rautatientori” or “Kamppi”) with metro (M1/M2). Metro stop: “Aalto-yliopisto”. Please note: Exit metro to: “Otaniementie”.

Hybrid Lab Symposium is located outside Helsinki city limits, in a neighbouring city of Espoo. This means that you will need to purchase a regional ticket (“seutulippu”) when you travel across the city lines with public transportation. You will also need this regional ticket for traveling between the airport and Helsinki city centre (see airport commute below).

Arriving from the airport:

TRAIN: There is a direct train line from the airport to city centre during the day. It takes 30 minutes to get to the city. The train departs from between T1 and T2. Purchase your ticket in advance from the ticket vending machines at the terminal, before entering the train. You will need a regional ticket (“seutulippu”) when you travel from Helsinki-Vantaa to Helsinki city centre railway station (Rautatieasema). All trains departing from the airport will arrive to Helsinki city centre.
BUS: Helsinki city busses and Finnair bus can be used to reach the center of Helsinki.

TAXI: From the airport to Helsinki city centre or directly to Espoo HSL2018 Venue, taxi will cost 40–50 euros.
If you need cash, there is an ATM already at the airport.
Common credit cards work well in Finland too and you will not necessarily need much cash.
